VPRX® was formulated to quickly and safely clean and degas hydrocarbon contaminated tank cars using the steam-driven vapor phase process. Our unique chemistry and vapor phase process renders tank cars gas and oil free, water wet, and safe for entry in as little as two hours.
The use of VPRX® removes LEL, H2S, benzene, and other hazards to reduce or eliminate confined space entry concerns during the cleaning process. VPRX is also biodegradable, non-toxic, non-corrosive, free of chlorinated solvents, and petroleum distillates. Our chemistry reduces safety concerns, environmental impact, regulatory burdens and can lower water effluent volumes by up to 90% versus traditional cleaning methods.
VPRX can also be used as a safer alternative for harsh solvents in hand-cleaning applications, circulation cleaning, spill cleanups, and for cleaning / degreasing railcar components during repairs or maintenance.
